Award-winning Montpellier is bucking industry trends with a  surge of new work and client wins that has almost doubled-the firm’s retained fee-income in the first six months of 2019.

This was sealed this week by the firm’s appointment by Fast Track 100 national ground maintenance and horticultural services group, Nurture Landscapes based in Surrey, whose prestige client list includes the Victoria & Albert Museum, Tate Modern and the Wellcome Trust.

In addition to Nurture Group, Montpellier has been awarded the retained services for Seven Technologies Group, a UK defence & security manufacturer based in Northern Ireland which is leading the way in the provision of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) systems.

Completing the trio of new commissions is a social media content services contract for one of the world’s largest European pharmaceutical manufacturers (name withheld for commercial reasons).

All three recent client-wins – which sit neatly within the consultancy’s three niche markets of life sciences, technology and real-estate – are underpinned by the 16-strong consultancy’s award in January of a six-figure internationally-focused contract of services with South Africa-based ERADA Technology Alliance, a world patent pioneer of rapid diagnostics solutions for the early detection of malaria.

Guy Woodcock, CEO, said: “As half years go, this has been one of the best.  It is no surprise that the dedication and sheer grit of our close-knit team has seen us yield a fruitful start to the year.  Indeed, none of this would have been possible without hiring great people. 2019/20 is well set up for delivering more award-winning results.”
