Day 5

Day 5:

How to recognise reliable news/research sources:

There are usually three indicators to ascertain whether a source is reliable: a professional-looking, well-written website or blog, not littered with spammy adverts or spelling mistakes; any claims should be evidenced via quotes from a named industry professional or linked to professional industry sources such as reports or whitepapers; for first-person opinion or blogs, there should be clear indication of the author’s qualifications/experience in the industry or professional link to the industry.
